What's In It For You

A partnership that works
with your land

  • Lasting financial benefit

A reliable, long-term lease income that doesn't depend on the season, the rainfall or commodity prices.

  • A working partnership

We handle every technical, planning and construction detail; you stay informed at every step through a single, dedicated local contact.

  • Minimal footprint

The battery is quiet, low-profile, fully fenced and unmanned, but always monitored; your farming or land use continues around it.

What We Look For

Is your land
suitable?

  • Roughly half an acre of reasonably flat land
  • Close to an SA Power Networks distribution line
  • Good road access
  • Outside high-risk flood and bushfire overlays

Not sure? Ask us - we love talking about batteries and the benefits they can bring to regional communities.

Landowner FAQs

The questions
we're asked most

Full answers to every question - on money, land, safety and process - are on the Communities & FAQs page.

  • The essentials are simple: land near existing powerlines or a substation, reasonably flat, with good road access. We only need around half an acre. If you're near the network, it costs you nothing to find out — we run a free initial assessment with no obligation.

  • A secure, long-term lease income paid for decades - income that doesn't depend on the season, the rainfall or commodity prices. Every property is different, so we put a specific offer in writing after the free assessment, and we encourage you to take independent advice before signing anything.

  • Nothing. We fund the assessment, the network studies, the approvals, the construction, the insurance, the operation and the eventual removal of the battery. Your side of the partnership is the land and reasonable access - that's it.

  • Yes - battery storage is proven technology operating at hundreds of sites across Australia. Our sites use current-generation grid-scale systems with layered protection: continuous monitoring, thermal management, fire detection and suppression, and physical separation between units.

  • Yes. The battery occupies only its fenced compound. Stock, cropping and machinery movements continue around it as normal. We design access tracks and the connection route with you so the project fits your operation, not the other way around.
